'Captain America: Civil War' News: Critics Give Their Insights on Marvel's 'Finest Film Yet'

In about two weeks, fans will finally get to see the clash between Marvel's biggest heroes and just recently critics have dished out their opinions about the upcoming superhero film.

According to the New Zealand Herald, the film starring Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man and Chris Evans as Captain America has received an eye-watering 97 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The Empire Magazine reportedly showered the third Captain America movie with praise and a shining, shimmering five-star rating. The magazine said the movie has matched "its blockbuster scale and spectacle with the smarts of a great, grown-up thriller, Captain America: Civil War is Marvel Studios' finest film yet."

Access Hollywood's Scott A. Mantz went on to agree that motion picture just made the film giant's "biggest, the boldest and the most ambitious yet."

Forbes' Mark Hughes also gave his thoughts and finally decided that despite the other films released over the past years that gained the attention of moviegoers, this is "the best Marvel yet."

Rotten Tomatoes users also gave their votes and 99 percent overall said they would like to storm into theaters once the action begins.

Movies News adds that Fandango's survey puts the third installment of the franchise on the top spot of most anticipated summer action movies. "X-Men Apocalypse" and "Suicide Squad" the other two superhero-focused titles included in the top five.

Directed by brothers Joe and Anthony Russo, the motion picture features the big battle between the Avengers starring Iron Man and the Captain. Due to the government's decision to create a system of accountability for every superhero, the former good friends will become enemies.

Captain America thinks it should be fine for heroes to do their jobs and be of assistance to humanity without the government coming in between. Iron Man doesn't think so - surprisingly for his character as he is known to be his own boss.

The war of words becomes a battle of emotions and other Avengers, new faces, and old pals join in. Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) will reprise their roles among others.

"Captain America: Civil War" hits big screens on May 6, 2016.
