'Captain America: Civil War' News, Spoilers: Chris Evans Compares 'Civil War' Set to Summer Camp; Film Goes 'Full-On Horror'
The Avengers may be going head-to-head in the upcoming Marvel superhero brawler "Captain America: Civil War," but in real life, the actors playing the MCU characters get along swimmingly, Chris Evans, who plays Steve Rogers/Captain America, has said.
Speaking to HELLO! magazine during Marvel Studios' U.K. press conference ahead of the "Civil War" premiere, Evans said that shooting the hotly anticipated Marvel ensemble film was not unlike going to summer camp and that the atmosphere on-set was one of the best things about filming the Marvel Cinematic Universe films.
"I can't imagine arguing with any person on the set - and you know, listen, sometimes that happens on film sets," Evans told HELLO! "For some reason when you step on a Marvel film set, it's like summer camp. It really is."

During the interview, the "Snowpiercer" actor also talked about his admiration for "Civil War" co-star Robert Downey, Jr., saying that a lot of the upcoming film rested on the "Iron Man" actor's shoulders.
"It was exciting," Evans said about reading the "Civil War" script for the first time. "I mean, a lot of it rested on Downey's shoulders, whether or not that he would be willing to do this."
But while the "Avengers" star's comments may sound like working on the "Civil War" set was a pleasant experience, directors Joe and Anthony Russo say that the film itself is "full-on horror."
According to Joe, when they first sat down to begin plotting out the "Civil War" story, they knew that it would have to be a "very heavy" movie that would see Captain America going on a "radical" journey from patriot to insurgent.
In an interview with the Los Angeles Times' Hero Complex, he said, "We knew we were taking a big risk by taking these very popular characters, and putting them in a very emotionally wrought, horrific… it goes full-on horror."
