Cardi B and Offset Split Rumors: Hip Hop Couple Still Going Strong
Hip-hop couple Cardi B and Offset are still together despite rumors that the two have called it quits.
After the "Bodak Yellow" singer sparked speculations that she and the "Bad and Boujee" rapper have broken up when she reportedly wrote the word "single" along with a photo of herself.
However, it looked like all was well between the two as Cardi B revealed that they were still together and that she may have just exaggerated on her previous post.
"I exaggerated a lil bit earlier cause I was really upset and the Bronx girl in me always have to go to the extreme," the former "Love and Hip Hop: New York" star wrote. "I came to my senses now. Im sorry... waffle house on me?" she added.
Offset accepted her apology, and now, everything between the two is back to normal.
She also squashed the break up rumors on her Twitter page, saying that she loves her man and that Offset was "gifted" to her by Jesus.
While it is unclear as to why the couple "broke up" in the first place, InTouch Weekly thinks that it may have been due to the pressure that Cardi is putting on Offset to ask for her hand in marriage. She reportedly hoped that her rapper boyfriend would propose to her on her birthday, which took place earlier this month.
"He's been giving her a lot of hints that when he gets back, he's going to put a ring on it for her birthday," an anonymous source told Hollywood Life. "She doesn't want to jinx it but she's sure he's going to ask her to marry him. She's so in love with him she can't wait to say yes," the source added.
In other news, Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar, was reportedly kicked out of the Hilton Hotel in upstate Albany, New York over the weekend. According to Billboard, the hotel alerted authorities due to complaints of smelling marijuana and partying on the floor where the hip-hop star was staying.
Cardi B has denied that neither she or her team have been smoking weed at the time, nor has she tried it ever. She also said that they are open to having a drug test.
