Carolina Panthers vs Atlanta Falcons Live Stream Free: Watch NFL 2013 Football Online (Start Time, Fox TV Schedule)
The Carolina Panthers will take on the Atlanta Falcons as the NFL 2013 regular season closes out. The Panthers come into this game looking to end their regular season on three straight wins and be crowned the kings of the NFC South. Today's game will start at 1 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
Over the past three years the Panthers have not had a fun time against the Falcons, with Atlanta holding the clear lead in their head to head record.
However, this season the Panthers are the team on the rise and the Falcons have taken a bad stumble. Atlanta come into this game with a poor 4-11 record, and want to win to try and avoid the unwanted accolade of finishing in the basement of the NFC South.
The Panthers meanwhile are top of the NFC South after taking down the New Orleans Saints last week in a 17-13 win. That result finally saw the Panthers leapfrog the Saints into the top spot, and they come into today's game hoping to game the win that will see them finish an impressive 12-4.
Carolina will be hoping to clinch a win to secure a first round bye in the playoffs, and will need a solid performance today to do it. Cam Newton has suffered slight knocks over the past few weeks and being able to rest him an extra week before they start their playoff campaign would be a big bonus.
Newton hurt his toe a fortnight ago against the New York Jets, and also had a noticeable limp following their game against the Saints.
"It was tweaked, and he feels pretty good today," Rivera said Monday, according to The Charlotte Observer. "He came in and got some pretty good treatment (on the ankle). He rolled it and he's out here walking around."
Newton is 277 of 446 for 3,230 yards and 22 touchdowns, and has been a major reason that the Panthers are in the position they are in heading into the playoffs.
