Dallas Stars vs Carolina Panthers Live Stream: Watch NHL Hockey Online

The Carolina Hurricanes will welcome the Dallas Stars at PNC Arena in the National Hockey League Thursday, March 12, 2015, at 7 p.m. ET.

With only one win in their last three matches, the Hurricanes find themselves last in the Metropolitan Division with 58 points – two points behind the Columbus Blue Jackets. Furthermore, Carolina has lost two of their last three home games, most recently in a 4-3 loss to the Blue Jackets.

In that matchup, the hosts opened up a 2-0 lead early in the first period, eventually closing out the first frame leading 3-1. Unfortunately, they could not find another goal throughout the game and allowed Columbus to score in each of the remaining periods to level the score 3-3, eventually losing in a penalty shootout thanks to a Ryan Johansen conversion.

Justin Faulk remains to be Carolina's top performer, leading the team with 44 points despite having an efficiency rating of -15. Goalies Cam Ward and Anton Khubodin have had rough seasons as well, with Ward only managing a 91 percent save rate, while Khoubodin is slightly worse at 90 percent.

On the other side, the Stars have won three of their last four – including two of their last three as visitors. They recently beat the Philadelphia Flyers 2-1 behind goals from Brett Ritchie and Vernon Fiddler.

Not all was good news, though, as John Klingberg sustained an upper-body injury in the win as he collided with Flyers forward Zac Rinaldo in the third period of the match. It is still unknown if he will suit up for their game against Carolina.

Dallas is also the last team in their respective division, with the Colorado Avalanche holding a one-point lead in the Central.

In their previous meeting this season, Carolina beat Dallas 6-4 behind two goals in the third period from Eric Staal.

The Stars led 2-0 after the first period but saw the Hurricanes score four times in the second. Carolina had a 5-2 lead before goals from Cody Eakin and Tyler Seguin cut the deficit to one, but Staal finished things off with a beautiful backhand to secure the two points.
