Carrie Reichert Confesses to Kissing Prince Harry, Gets Arrested After Interview
'I Believe the British Secret Service' is Responsible for the Arrest, Says Reichert
Carrie Reichert has claimed that the British Secret service had her jailed after she publicly confessed to a "drunken fumble" with Prince Harry in Las Vegas.
Prince Harry was the center of controversy after naked pictures of him in a Las Vegas hotel surfaced on the internet. Reichert was the only individual to come forward following the incident, stating in an interview afterwards the she had spent twenty minutes with the Prince in a "drunken fumble."
"I'm not going to pass an opportunity to party with Prince Harry," Reichart said, recalling the August event to People magazine. "'We kissed for 15 to 20 minutes. I am sure someone stumbled in as there were people going in and out of rooms all the time. We kissed again and he said 'That was great.'"

Directly after offering up information in the interview, she was jailed for a month due to bounced checks that were written in 2004. She was arrested at San Diego airport on a plane bound for Mexico on August 24, and sent to a Mississippi prison. The prison is known to be one of the toughest in the U.S, according to Mail Online.
Reichert charges that it was the British Secret service who prompted her arrest.
"I believe the British secret service or whoever protects the Royals have something to do with my situation. I am not being treated the same as someone else in my situation," Reichart was quoted by Mail Online in a Tuesday interview.
Her attorney, Donald Rafferty, agreed that the treatment seemed unusual.
"Carrie feels like she is being treated much different to other people," Rafferty said according to the publication. "Professionally since 1984, in my experience a charge of this nature is typically not prosecuted at the same level that she is being prosecuted at."
While Reichert has no evidence to back her claims, her lawyer believes "she has several legitimate defenses to the allegations contained in the indictment."
"I am not convinced that Mississippi authorities were the ones necessarily stirring that gumbo as we say, but something was," he added. "I am trying to get my teeth into the case to help that young lady."
