Castle Season 7 Premiere Date: Episode 1 Titled 'Driven' Has Release Date of September 29, 2014
The American crime drama television series "Castle" is set for a season 7 premiere on Sept. 29 on ABC.
The television series was created by Andrew W. Marlowe and first premiered on the ABC channel on March 9, 2009. The series follows the lives of Richard Castle, a best selling mystery novelist and Kate Beckett, a NYPD homicide detective.
Castle and Beckett then go solve various unusual crimes together. At first, Beckett is frustrated with the idea of having to tag Castle along when solving crimes and creates some distance between each other. Pretty soon however, they start developing feelings for each other.
Richard Castle is played by Nathan Fillion, while Detective Kate Beckett is played by Stana Katic.
The series ended their sixth season earlier this year, on May 12. ABC then revealed earlier this month the first official trailer of the seventh season, which will premiere next month.
In the trailer, Beckett is seen in her wedding dress searching through the fiery ruins of the car where Castle crashed. To her surprise, Castle is nowhere to be found.
Back in the season six finale, Beckett and Castle face the day of their wedding when something goes horribly wrong. An unknown assailant has caused Castle's car to crash, resulting in a fiery ruin. Fans have been left hanging until the release of the trailer.
The title of the first episode is already known as "Driven."
