Catherine Giudici Obtains Marriage License Ahead of 'Bachelor' Sean Lowe TV Wedding

Catherine Giudici is counting down the days until she becomes "Bachelor" star Sean Lowe's wife and a recent tweet suggested the couple recently applied for a marriage license.

The "Bachelor" season 17 winner, 27, is set to wed Lowe, 30, in a televised ceremony on Jan. 26 and on Sunday she began counting down the days. The Christian couple got engaged in Thailand while filming the season 17 finale in 2013 after Lowe presented her with a 3.15-carat platinum-and-diamond ring.

"Two weeks from this moment, I'll be in my dress about to become Mrs. Lowe. #countdownlowedown," Giudici tweeted to her 249,000 followers.

The couple has documented many of the festivities leading up to their big day, including their engagement party and two wedding showers, via social media. While they appear to be more in love than ever, the former Amazon employee recently appeared to be less than enthusiastic about one particular pre-wedding event.

"Applying for a marriage license is the least romantic thing in the world," Giudici tweeted.

The Seattle native recently revealed that final wedding arrangements, including selecting a wedding party and attire, are underway.

"So far we've picked the flowers and selected our wedding party," Giudici told Life & Style magazine.

On Oct. 28 Giudici posted a photo on Instagram of a strapless, silk J. Mendel wedding gown and her followers immediately began speculating whether she had found a dress. Lowe's mother Sherry reportedly accompanied the graphic designer on her search for the ideal wedding dress.

"I chose one that makes me feel really good!" she said about her gown.

The Christian entrepreneur and Giudici are set to become the fourth "Bachelor" franchise couple to wed on TV. They will follow in the footsteps of "Bachelorette" star Trista Rehn and husband Ryan Sutter, who starred in "Trista & Ryan's Wedding" among others.

The ABC network is reportedly paying the couple a six-figure sum to exchange "I dos" on TV, according to E! News. In addition to this, the network will also foot the bill for what is expected to be a million-dollar wedding.

"They are not marrying for money, they are marrying for love," Lowe's father Jay told Daily Mail U.K. in response to critics. "They would get married in our backyard if they had to, but ABC graciously asked them to marry on television for the fans."
