Catherine Zeta-Jones' Daughter News: Carys Zeta Gets Advice From Her Mother About Joining The Film Industry
British actress Catherine Zeta-Jones appears to be ready to let her daughter Carys Zeta Douglas get her share of the limelight.
In an interview with the press in late September, the multi-awarded actress revealed that her youngest child with husband Michael Douglas already developed an intense interest in joining showbusiness after she brought her to the New York Fashion Week to offer support for Michael Kors' fashion show.
"She wants to get into the business in all its capacity. She is a wonderful actress and wonderful singer and pianist but she loves fashion," the "Chicago" actress stated during the interview that was posted by Daily Mail.
The report also mentioned that Zeta-Jones believed that Carys and her eldest son Dylan Michael could face a lot of pressure if the opted to follow her and their father's footsteps since both of them were known for their exceptional acting talents. They also have to step up to the expectations set by their actor grandfather Kirk Douglas.
However, the actress claimed that both her kids possess the drive and ambition needed to become a very popular star in the movies.
Zeta-Jones also revealed that she already gave her 14-year-old mini-me a very important advice in order to survive the tough competition in the entertainment industry.
The actress also claimed that she will never stop their children from being part of the business.
"She's very head strung in her career," Zeta-Jones also said as reported by E! News. "A doctor has always been in the cards but acting is her passion and I've schooled them in that the business is broad these days and you got to go out there knowing that there's critiques."
"I've had a wonderful life in this business, so if they want to do it, they know the hardships and the percentages of who makes it and who doesn't. I just think that they've got the talent and I know that they have the drive," she also added.
