Cavallari Co-Stars Bribed to Make Up Drug Stories on 'The Hills' (VIDEO)

Following a previous admission that "The Hills" was fake, Kristin Cavallari has now revealed that her fellow cast members were paid to lie about her drug problems.

Cavallari admitted during a recent interview that she was living a double life during her reality television days. According to her, producers were willing to do anything to encourage ratings, which included bribery.

"I had the public Kristin and then I had the real me," she told E! host Giuliana Rancic. One bribe included an MTV producer offering $10,000 Birkin bags to her fellow cast mates in exchange for them making up stories about Cavallari.

"I felt so used. And I realized at that moment that I didn't matter. None of us mattered. It was all about ratings," she said.

Cavallari added that it was manipulation from the start, beginning with her early days on "Laguna Beach."

"I was 16 when they first came," she said. "We were babies, and we didn't know what we were signing up for. They literally came in and just manipulated situations."

Cavallari has said in the past that her MTV reality series were "pretty fake."

"Fake relationships, fake fights ... but it was fun, 'cause you're acting. And that was more fun for me," she told Andy Cohen at the end of last year.

Cavallari has previously admitted to drug use, although she prefers not to be around drugs these days.

When asked if she had ever tried cocaine Cavallari responded, "I tried it in high school."

"I admitted it!" she said during a 2010 radio interview with Valentine in the Morning, which is based in L.A. "I don't like being around it. I think it's kind of a shady."
