CBS Network Fall Schedule: Shows Getting the Axe and Shows Returning; 'The Big Bang Theory' Renewed But 'Angel from Hell' Canceled

Networks have been making big decisions for the past months on the lineup of TV shows for fall. There are shows that will remain, others are canceled, and some are totally new. CBS has been a home of some favorite shows. Just recently, CBS unveiled the shows that will make it to the cut for fall.

Renewed Shows

"NCIS" is an American action police procedural television series and has been renewed for two more seasons. The American sitcom "The Big Bang Theory" and "Elementary" will also be back in the fall. Another season has been added to "Hawaii Five-O" and "Madam Secretary." It will also be an additional season for "NCIS Los Angeles" and" NCIS New Orleans."

It will be another batch of episodes for "Scorpion" and "2 Broke Girls." Additionally, it will be a twelfth season for "Criminal Minds" and a second season for "Life In Pieces." Second seasons will be added to "Supergirl" and "Code Black" as well. Matthew Perry's reboot will return, and so is the "Criminal Minds'" spinoff, "Beyond Borders."

These are shows that will be back in television by fall. As much as there are shows that are being renewed, there are also shows that got the axe and must bid goodbye to fans.

Canceled Shows

The show will not continue for "Angel from Hell" after a few aired episodes and a delayed start. It will be the end after its current season for "Mike and Molly," and so with "The Good Wife." The cop show "Person of Interest" will end after its fifth season, and it's only a second season for "CSI: Cyber." "Rush Hour "and "Limitless" will not be getting into their second seasons.

While it is best for shows to stay longer in the network, it is inevitable that some shows have to go. Some may come out strong but cannot sustain the momentum and lose audience in the middle of it. Other shows just cannot make it far and end during the first season. There are those shows that seem not to make it even right from the start.

Shows have been renewed and canceled in all major five networks. In fact, it is hard for the networks to decide the TV series lineup for fall. As early as now, fans already know which shows remain and what are those that will never return.
