'Chasing Life' season 2 plot news: Natalie distraught after learning secret

It was reported that the most recent episode of "Chasing Life" has revealed Thomas Carver's secret.

Titled "Bottle of Secrets," the episode showed April, played by Italia Ricci, asking her uncle George, played by Steven Weber, to tell them her father's secret. Not wanting to burden the girls, he did tell them the truth at first. But with the girls urging him to tell, he finally spilled the beans.

It was revealed that Thomas was suffering from Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). With that, he wanted to leave his family with insurance money by killing himself. George stated that he aided Thomas in faking his own death. The girls handled the news differently. It was reported that Natalie, played by Jessica Meraz, decided that she wanted to leave her family. She expressed her desire to disappear for a while. As stated by TV Fanatic, Natalie was the most hurt by the news because she was at the bottom of the family tree. The previous episodes mentioned that she was at first kept a secret because her father did not want to know that he cheated on their mother. Therefore, the news that her father faked his death, in order to help the Carvers, and not her, made her upset.
