Chelsea secured their first league win last week.

Chelsea FC are looking for their second win in the English Premier League as they host Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge in game week four.

As defending champions, it has come as a surprise that Jose Mourinho's men find themselves in the middle of the table at 10th place after three matches.

Still with the same core players and a few additions, many thought that the Blues would start off the same way they finished off last season – strong and with purpose.

However, things have not turned out that way as they failed to win their first league game at home, settling for a 2-2 draw against Swansea City in a match that saw them hold the lead on two different occasions only to give it up.

And in an early clash of heavyweights, Chelsea famously lost to title contenders Manchester City in a match that saw they have holes on the defensive end and no sting while handling possession of the ball.

In the 3-0 loss, Mourinho's men received a lot of criticism as they were nowhere as potent as critics expected them to be.

However, they finally got their first win of the season against West Bromwich Albion.

With the arrival of Pedro Rodriguez from Barcelona FC, the Spaniard made his presence felt as he scored and had a hand in another goal in his debut match for Chelsea.

Now, they are looking to get back on track with a second win at the expense of Crystal Palace.

As for the visitors, Palace are fifth in the league and are only three points behind leaders City.

They won in their first league game against Norwich City 3-1 before losing 2-1 against Arsenal at home.

However, they responded well with a win over Aston Villa with Scott Dann and Bakary Sako finding the back of the net in the 2-1 win.

Any result against Chelsea away from home should be a great result for Palace.
