Chelsea vs Southampton Live Stream, Preview: Watch English Premier League Online
Both teams are looking for big wins.
With both teams looking to enter double digits on points, defending champions Chelsea host Southampton at Stamford Bridge in the English Premier League.
The match is on October 3, 2015 at 12:30 PM ET.
Looking at the league table, Southampton are 10th in the league with nine points, while Chelsea are surprisingly in the bottom half of the table in 14th place and only have eight points after seven matches.
Things are clearly not right for Jose Mourinho and the Blues as they have struggled early in the season. In their last four matches, they have only won once and lost twice to make their defence of the title even harder.
Furthermore, they have also struggled in the European competition as they recently lost to Porto in the UEFA Champions League.
As for Southampton, they have only lost once in their last five league matches but have only won two in the same stretch.
Their most recent performance came in a 3-1 victory over Swansea City where Virgil van Dijk and Sadio Mane scored to help the Saints get maximum points.
Matches between Chelsea and Southampton have always been tough matches and their last two meetings prove that point.
In their clashes last season, both ended in 1-1 draws.
At St. Mary's Stadium, Mane scored the match's first goal but Eden Hazard cancelled it with a goal in injury time of the first half of the match.
When the two teams met at Stamford Bridge, Diego Costa scored early for the Blues but Southampton only needed eight minutes to equalise with Dusan Tadic scoring from the penalty spot.
For Chelsea, they should find another player to get goals from in this match as Costa will not be available as he continues to serve his suspension after an incident against Arsenal.
