Chicago Bears vs Washington Redskins Live Stream Free: Watch Online NFL 2013 Football (Fox TV Schedule)
Chicago Bears vs Washington Redskins takes place on Sunday in the NFL with the Bears hoping to gain a second straight win against a struggling NFC East contender. The game will start at 1 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
The Bears had gotten off to a perfect start to the season, winning their first three straight games to go 3-0. However, they then slipped up, losing to the Detroit Tigers 32-40 in Week 4, and losing to the New Orleans Saints 18-26 in Week 5 to strike a blow to their season's hopes.
However, they are now hoping to experience a resurgence by using the NFC East strugglers to get them back on track.
In Week 6 the Bears took advantage of a winless New York Giants team, winning 27-21 to get back on the winning path and go 4-2. They now face another NFC East team doing only marginally better than the Giants – the 1-4 Washington Redskins.
The Bears have the third best offense in the league by total points scored, posting an average of 28.7 points per game. They have been efficient at getting points on the board even when their total yards have not been as high as they'd have liked. Contrasting their third ranking offense in points scored, they are only ranked 10th in the NFL for total yards gained per game (369.2 points), showing how they've optimized their yardage to make sure they always get something on the scoreboard.
Quarterback Jay Cutler is 143 of 217 for 1,630 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Meanwhile the Redskins are coming into this game having suffered a blowout loss to the Dallas Cowboys 16-31. They were well and truly beaten by Dallas in Week 6, with any hope that they could build on their first win of the season against Oakland in Week 4 smashed to pieces.
The Redskins are very much opposite to the Bears; they have one of the highest ranking offenses for total yards gained, but one of the worst for total points scored, revealing their inefficiency at turning yards into points.
Posting 399.2 yards per game ranks them 4th in the NFL for total yards gained per game – amazing for a team at 1-4. However, the problem is revealed when that statistic is contrasted against their total points scored, where they are averaging just 21.4 points per game, ranking them 20th in that department.
Robert Griffin III is 125 of 209 for 1,448 yards and 6 touchdowns, and he will be disappointed so far this season at only recording six touchdowns through their five games. He will know there is big space for improvement and he will be hoping to get his receivers into the End Zone on a more regular basis.
