'Chicago Fire' Season 4 Air Date, Plot Spoilers News: 'Chicago Med' Doctor to Assist Fire Fighters
A doctor from "Chicago Med" will stop by "Chicago Fire" season 4 to assist the fire-fighting group in their difficult tasks.
In the next episode of Chicago Fire season 4, Dr. Daniel Charles (Oliver Platt) from Chicago Med will drop by to lend a helping hand to the crew of fire-fighters. He will assist Brett and Chili as they go through a tedious first call in the premiere episode.
"Brett and Chili go through a pretty heavy duty first call in the first episode," Chicago Fire executive producer Matt Olmstead said in a statement to TV Line.
Brett, on the other hand, will have difficulty getting over the well-being of a certain baby. Charles' appearance in Chicago Fire is in line with a promotion with spin-off series Chicago Med. He will also appear in Chicago P.D. for the same purpose.
Another thing that fans ought to look out for will be the revelation on what will become of Matt Casey (Jesse Spencer). Last season, Dawson went to Casey's place to tell him that she is pregnant. However, she was shocked when she found a dead stripper inside.
In Chicago Fire's fourth season, Dawson will seek help from Chicago P.D.'s Voight and Antonio. The two will take the reins in the case and try to find Casey, CarterMatt reports.
In the first episode titled "Let It Burn," Casey will be caught in a standoff between Nesbitt and his people. Somebody will be seriously injured in the shootout, but fans will have to stay tuned to find out who that person is. One thing is for sure, Casey will survive the incident but memories of the ordeal will keep hounding him throughout the season, the report relays.
Chicago Fire season 4 will begin airing on October 13 on NBC.
