'Chicago PD' Season 4 Episode 16 Spoilers: Voight Is Worried About Olinsky's Condition

Olinsky (Elias Koteas) will be an emotional wreck because of his daughter in the upcoming episode of "Chicago P.D."

In the episode titled "Emotional Proximity," the synopsis (according to CarterMatt) reveals that the city will witness a terrible tragedy when a factory catches fire, trapping many workers inside. Olinsky's daughter is one of the victims and she needs immediate medical attention. Intel will reveal that the incident was intentional. Someone set fire to the plant and the Chicago P.D. will do everything to catch him. Voight (Jason Beghe) and the others cannot help but see the case as a personal mission. Olinsky's daughter is in critical condition. They want justice to be served as soon as possible.

Although Olinsky is a tough agent, he has never faced anything like this before. He is bound to be a mess. Voight will likely be worried about him, but the only thing he can do is offer comfort. He and the team will be working with Assistant State Attorney Stone (guest star Philip Winchester) and his squad, as well as the firefighters from Firehouse 51. Together, they will search for the truth, examining every detail to determine what truly happened that fateful night. There will be a bunch of possible suspects to interrogate, as well as the building owner who is eager to cooperate, at first.

The crossover among the three "Chicago" shows will air on March 1, starting with "Fire" at 8 p.m. EST, then "P.D." at 9 p.m. and finally, "Justice" at 10 p.m. The three-part event will also feature some of the characters from "Med."

Showrunner Dick Wolf told The Hollywood Reporter that the crossover took a lot of preparation.

"Nothing remotely like this has ever been done with a three-hour block of programming. [It's] very challenging, but a great story and something I think that will keep people sitting there for all three hours. Each one has a slightly different variation on the same theme. Each hour is giving you new information and moving toward a great courtroom conclusion," Wolf said.

"Chicago P.D." season 4 airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. EST on NBC.
