'ChäoS;Child Silent Sky' Blu-ray, DVD Release Date: Movie About Serika's New Life Is Coming to Home Video
The follow-up movie, "ChäoS;Child Silent Sky," which took audiences through the life of the new Serika, is coming to Blu-ray and DVD this September.
Months following the events in the anime series, "ChäoS;Child," Serika is now leading a totally new life in Yokohama, far away from Shibuya and her former existence. But even though she has moved on and has already accepted the belief that she has lost all of her memories in an accident, her past still continues to haunt her dreams, making her feel that she may have forgotten something, perhaps even someone, that has played an important part in her life.
A shopping trip to Shibuya with her friends will serve as the biggest trigger for her forgotten memories. Upon seeing the disfigured youths there, who are suffering from the dreaded Chaos Child Syndrome, Serika decides to look much closer into the matter, and will soon come to the school she once attended with her best friend, Takuru.
How will the truth affect Serika's new life? Will she be able to handle the fact that she was once a cold and calculating killer disguising herself as a cute and ditzy girl, and that the only reason she feels so normal now and free of her horrible past is because of Takuru's doing?
Aside from catching up with the new Serika, the movie will also get to the bottom of the mysterious affliction known as the Chaos Child Syndrome. It also establishes a connection between "ChäoS;Child" and all the other titles in the Science-Adventure series namely, "Chaos; Head," "Steins;Gate," and "Robotics;Notes."
Additionally, the movie will also follow up on the lives of the other heroes following the end of the anime series, and there may also be some unexpected villains sprouting out along the way.
"ChäoS;Child Silent Sky" will be released in both limited Blu-ray and limited DVD on Friday, Sept. 29.
