Chris Brown Admits His Mistakes and Lack of Regrets in Message to Fans
Chris Brown is speaking up about the many mistakes he has made, while living with no regrets.
Brown, the 25-year-old singer, has recently been released from jail last June and serving probation for assaulting his singer ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 with subsequent violent acts that followed. Now, Brown is admitting that he is not perfect in a new heartfelt message to his fans.
"I been through a lot in my life. Made a lot of mistakes along the way," Brown tweeted. "But through it all I've always been true to myself and through God I've been able to take care of my family! I should regret some things but I think the lessons learned will shape me into a real man."

The singer insisted he was grateful by writing, "I'm grateful and appreciative! Thank you for life."
While the singer is reportedly gearing up to release his X album next month, he will also have to stand on trial for an unresolved altercation that took place in Washington D.C between Brown, his bodyguard, and a young man accusing them of assault in October 2013. Brown's lawyer Mark J. Geragos insisted his client is ready for another trial after saying new information has presented itself in the case, according to The Washington Post.
"If they want a trial, that's what they're going to get," Geragos told The Washington Post after the hearing.
Brown is due to appear back in a Washington D.C. Superior Court Sept. 8. However, his accuser Isaac Adams Parker is still reportedly filing a $1.5 million civil lawsuit against Brown and his bodyguard, according to The Washington Post.
The singer previously rejected a plea deal offered to him involving the case last January. Although the prosecutors in the case said they have surveillance video proving Brown's involvement in the reported fight, the singer's attorney Geragos said the plea deal was rejected because his client was innocent.
"It was rejected because he's not guilty," Geragos previously told The New York Daily News. "I've seen everything I need to see in this case, so absent prosecutors turning over video footage of [Brown] doing it, there's little or no chance of any plea deal."
