Chris Brown Reveals Thoughts Before Heading To Rehab

Chris Brown is entering a rehabilitation center to work on his anger management issues and may have given fans an indication of what has been on his mind recently.

"In order to go where u have never gone u have to be willing to go where u never been," Brown tweeted Tuesday, following the announcement that he would be seeking professional help.

Brown, the 24-year-old singer-songwriter, was taken to a rehabilitation center by his longtime lawyer Mark Geragos, one day after being released from a Washington D.C. jail where he spent 36 hours. The singer was arrested after he was accused of breaking the nose of Parker Isaac Adams, 20, who allegedly attempted to sneak into a photograph that Brown was taking with two women, according to E! News reports.

While Brown's camp insists he was acting in self-defense after Adams attempted to sneak on his tour bus, a representative for the singer said he is seeking professional help to gain some insight into his most recent behavior.

"Chris Brown has elected to enter a rehab facility," Brown's representative told E! News Tuesday. "His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point."

While Geragos represented Brown during his probation issues stemming from a 2009 assault on ex-girlfriend and singer Rihanna, Danny Onorato represented the troubled entertainer after his recent assault. Although Brown is seeking help for his aggressive behavior, Onorato insists his client was not at fault.

"Christopher Brown committed no crime," Onorato told reporters, according to RumorFix.com. "We understand that his security acted to protect Mr. Brown and his property, as he is authorized to do under District of Columbia law. We are confident that Mr. Brown will be exonerated of any wrongdoing."

Still, sources close to the singer spoke about him dealing with his aggression in the wrong ways.

"He needs help," a source close to Brown told E! News. "He keeps self-medicating with weed and alcohol and that's when he always gets in trouble."
