Chris Brown Will Remain in Jail Until June ?

Chris Brown could be in jail until June.

The 24-year-old singer-songwriter will be flown back to a Los Angeles jail from a Virginia facility, because his trial was postponed until at least June, according to TMZ reports. Although the trial was supposed to start on Wednesday, the publication is reporting that Brown will have to await his fate which could result in four years in prison if he is found guilty.

Brown is being held in jail until an assault case that he was charged with in Washington D.C. is resolved. The charge stems from the singer being accused of breaking the nose of Parker Isaac Adams, 20, who allegedly attempted to sneak into a photograph that Brown was taking with two women last year, according to E! News reports.

If the assault did indeed occur, Brown would have violated the probation that he was given after assaulting ex-girlfriend and singer Rihanna in 2009. While Brown's future has yet to be determined, he has been receiving support from his mother Joyce Hawkins and a host of other entertainers.

"KEEP PRAYING GOD HAS THIS," Brown's mother tweeted when news broke that he would have to be flown back to California where he will await his trial in a jail cell.

Last week, Brown's 25-year-old on-and-off again girlfriend Karrueche Tran showed up to a Washington D.C. courtroom Friday along with Brown's mother rapper Bow Wow and singer Tank in support of the singer, according to Rap-Up.com.

Previous CNN reports stated that Brown was booted from rehab last month where he was ordered to by a Los Angeles judge. The act violated Brown's probation terms which landed him in jail.

While CNN reported that Brown wrote a questionable note in the facility and maintained an inappropriate relationship with a female there, he left a previous facility for reportedly throwing a rock at his mother's car window.
