The growth of technology is not something Christians should miss out on. While there has been a great increase in productivity apps, games and many other programs for mobile and desktop, there has also been an increase of great faith-based apps as well.

Smartphones have been known to make work and life a whole lot easier. With an open application store which gives ingenious app builders the freedom to make and distribute great ideas, we now have a big collection of resources that can help us grow in spirit too.

From Bible apps to church management apps and even to prayer tracking apps, online stores are filling up with resources that can help us grow spiritually. Here are some of of the best Android and iOS apps Christians should probably consider getting today.

1. GloBible

There are many Bible apps out there, but GloBible is one that stands out. It's been around for quite a while but a recent successful Kickstarter campaign just leveled up this service's features. GloBible includes a database of maps, virtual tours, videos, commentaries and many other features that can make your Bible study times fruitful.

2. Church Community Builder

The Church Community Builder software is a great tool for church leaders as it provides various ministry function features like church databasing, children's church check-ins, coaching scheduling, volunteer scheduling and so on.

3. Disciplr

You've answered the call to go and make disciples, but you have no idea where to start. That's what Disciplr helps you do. It's a directory of various curricula and materials that make discipleship much easier. It includes discipleship materials for a whole range of members no matter what age or background.

This app actually won an award for its efforts to help Christians actually pray for all the people and causes one cares about.

Audio books, videos, sermons and commentaries- there just seems to be so many files to keep! What One Place does is give you literally one place to store a wide mix of various theological and doctrinal study materials that you can bring around in your phone anywhere you go.
