Christina Applegate Marries 'Surrounded by Family in Private Ceremony,' Says Rep

Christina Applegate married Martyn LeNoble in a private ceremony this weekend, sources revealed. The couple became engaged on Valentine's Day in 2010 and have been together ever since.

Applegate's representative told People magazine the couple exchanged vows "surrounded by family in a private ceremony at their home in Los Angeles," including their daughter Sadie Grace. It is the second marriage for both Applegate and LeNoble.

Applegate has gone through several changes recently: in addition to her marriage, she announced that she was leaving the hit series "Up All Night" due to the "creative direction of the series." However, she has confirmed that she will make an appearance in the upcoming "Anchorman: The Legend Continues," due out on Dec. 20.

LeNoble was an important person in Applegate's life for a long time and helped support her when she went through a double mastectomy. Applegate had been diagnosed with breast cancer and went through a very public experience in order to help raise awareness and funds for cancer foundations.

"I have a small but mighty support system and Martyn has really been an incredible part of my life. Without him, I don't know if I could've gone through any of it. He came around at a time when there was a lot of loss in my life on many levels, so he's been a really incredible help," Applegate told Us Weekly in 2010.

It was unlikely that Applegate would be able to conceive, but she and LeNoble welcomed a healthy daughter, Sadie Grace, in 2010. She spoke about the intimacy of Sadie's birth with Ellen DeGeneres.

"I dropped my gown, which I don't do. This part of my body [her chest] is very private to me … that's a real private place. A place that I don't have a good relationship with, let's say. But at that moment of pulling her out, I just tore that [gown] off. There's a room full of people that I don't know, nurses and doctors, and she and I just lay there. It was the best thing that's ever happened to me," she told DeGeneres.
