Christina Grimmie's memorial service was held on Friday, June 17 but her family held a small and intimate private funeral gathering for their close relatives on Thursday. It was the family's final goodbyes before laying the slain rising pop star to rest. The service took place at Fellowship Alliance Chapel in Medford, minutes away from her hometown Evesham Township.
Christina's brother, Marcus, posted on his Facebook a tearful message for all her fans. He wrote: "Thank you for all who came out tonight. It was awesome. If anyone has any pictures or anything from the night I'd love to see them. Sorry if I missed you. Thanks for loving my sister like I did everyone."
The former "The Voice" contestant and teen idol, was fatally shot by Kevin Loibl in front of the crowd in her post-concert autograph session in Orlando. Police uncovered, in a recent report, that Loibl was an obsessed and infatuated fan who had undergone Lasik vision surgery and a hair transplant procedure just to win the heart of the teen star. He even carried out a vegetarian diet in order to slim down, his former friend and colleague in Best Buy told TMZ.

His workmate was reportedly told that Loibl would be meeting Grimmie at one of her concerts in March. He was frequently seen listening to the former artist and Youtube sensation's covers and works even during at work.
But everything turned upside down after Loibl knew that his favorite artist was reported to be dating her producer Stephen Rezza, TMZ reported. His disappointment and anger may have been the reason behind his apparent rampage in Orlando where he gunned down the idol
Authorities were still out searching for the killer's computer and phone for a concrete motive behind the incident. They said that there was no indication or whatsoever that the teen idol had known her killer.
When asked about the state of mind or whether Loibl was a "deranged fan", Orlando Police Chief John Mina responded, "That would be speculation, but that's what it's looking like."
Kevin Loibl didn't have a car and had to travel alone to the Central Florida Theater. After the shooting incident, he was tackled by the singer's brother but then fatally shot himself as well. The singer was swiftly taken to a hospital nearby in a critical condition but then died a few hours later.
A note from Loibl's family emerged that says: "Deepest sorrow for lost to the family & fans of the very talented loving Christina Grimmie. No other comments".
