Chuck E. Cheese Brawl Caught on Video as Woman Fight with Children Present (VIDEO)
A child's birthday party erupted into a big brawl at a Chuck E. Cheese's in Long Island on Saturday, and the whole fiasco was caught on film.
The fight involved mostly adult women with one of them throwing punches while holding a baby. Another woman was being held back by her young daughter, as she tried to fight her way to someone else.
The incident is making viral way as it was captured on a cell phone near the front door of the establishment.
The business was unable to comment on the incident because of an on going police investigation, however, they provided Yahoo with a statement.
"The store manager and employees acted quickly, followed proper safety procedures and contained the incident until local on-duty officers arrived. We want to assure parents and caregivers that we take great measures to protect the experience children and families have in our stores.... Despite our efforts, unfortunately altercations occur with a very small percentage of those who visit Chuck E. Cheese's. And like kids' soccer and baseball games across our country, typically the incidents are not with the kids—but regrettably the parents. For us, even one altercation is too many. Maintaining a wholesome, safe experience that sets a standard across our more than 560 locations is of utmost importance to Chuck E. Cheese's, and we will never stop working to improve how we operate our business," a spokesperson from Chuck E. Cheese wrote.
According to police reports there was also a robbery at Chuck E. Cheese that night, perhaps sparking the altercation.
"We have confirmed that a pocketbook was stolen. We're investigating the incident, which occurred on Jericho Turnpike in Commack. It was reported at 6:51 p.m.," a Suffolk County Police representative told Yahoo!
In March the popular children's chain made headlines with an 18-person fight in Florida reported the Daily News. There was a shooting and three arrests made on that particular case.
