After the wedding on Wednesday this week, the newly-married couple Ciara and Wilson made their wedding Instagram official. The British wedding was attended by family, friends and high-profile celebrity guests.

On her wedding day, Ciara wore a Roberto Cavalli wedding dress designed by Peter Dundas, a friend and creative director of the fashion house. E Online adds that the dress was showcased in the Instagram photo of the couple candidly walking down the aisle. Ciara is pictured in a long-sleeved lace gown with a veil and dipped neckline. As for the groom, he wore a Giorgio Armani Made to Measure suit. Future, Ciara's son reportedly also sported the same designer label.
On her Instagram page, Ciara captioned the photo with "We are The Wilsons!"
According to Glamour, details of the Ciara and Russell Wilson wedding are sparse as it was made to be a very private event. Guests had to have their phones taken away in order to discourage candid picture taking.

A source told Hollywood Life that the wedding ceremony of the singer and the NFL quarterback was a traditional Christian wedding. When Ciara was walking down the aisle, Wilson was said to be holding back his tears and the same could be said for the singer. There was also a segment where they both voiced their prepared emotional speeches for one another. The couple ultimately exchanged their "I do's" and shared their first kiss as newlyweds.

There were only about 100 guests at the couple's wedding. The star-studded affair was attended by Ciara's closest celebrity pals including Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Rowland and Lala Anthony. Close girlfriend Serena Williams, however, did not make it to the wedding ceremony and celebration, Brides reported. The tennis champion who was supposed to be one of the bridesmaids had to prepare for the upcoming Wimbledon finals on Thursday.
It was on April 2015 that Ciara and Russell Wilson first outed their relationship. In March earlier this year, the NFL superstar proposed to the singer with a 16-carat ring in Seychelles. ET Online wrote that both have been celibate according to their religious beliefs. Ciara was once engaged to rapper Future but broke up in August 2014. They have a child named Future Zahir Wilburn.
