'Clash Royale' Free Tournaments News: Coca-Cola Hosting Tournament Tuesday
"Clash Royale" tournament players will want to stake out @CokeEsports twitter feed, where they will be hosting their next free tournament at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time today, Tuesday, March 7.
Coke Esports typically gives away in-game rewards for the winners in their free "Clash Royale" tournaments. The top prize for the last tournament is a good haul — 400 cards and 2,800 gold. Not bad at all, if a player has the right cards and strategy to bag the top spot. It would not be easy, certainly, as lots of players will have the same idea.
The tournament tag and password to get in are readily available on their Twitter feed, making it a first-come-first-served affair. There are no conditions for entering the Coke Esports tournament, unlike other contests that require you to sign up for an account, such as a post or follow the sponsors' YouTube channels.
The tournament managers have also cut the preparation time to one hour — this means that after taking up a spot, a player will just have one hour to prepare his or her deck. The events typically last for one hour as well. The tournament winners are posted soon after, on the same Twitter feed.
According to the International Business Times, the previous tournament almost filled up the allowed maximum of 200 players for their regular tournament. Coke Esports also holds the occasional 1,000 player tournament, and these contests have the bigger prizes. The last major tournament was held on Feb. 7, and there is no announcement on the next major event as of this time.
In-game, joining the free tournament is easy. The player just needs to go to the Tournaments tab, and tap on Custom. They will need to type on @CokeEsports, and the password for the tournament — the previous one is "TasteTheFeeling." Coke Esports have reused the same password with every tournament so far, so if one can't reach the Twitter page for some reason, it's possible that the old password might still work.
