'Clash Royale' March 2017 Update: Four New Cards to Come With Anniversary Update?

Sources have clued in "Clash Royale" fans that four new cards could be coming out in time for the game's anniversary update on March 24. In two weeks, players could get their hands on the Goblin Chalet, Goblin Ninja, Goblin Elder and Forest Berries, if the rumor turns out to be true.

A Chinese forum has leaked a few details on the new cards, and there's not much to go on as of this time. Clash Royale Arena has the report on what tidbits were leaked about the new cards — this looks to be a very early leak since most of the card costs, unit statistics or card art have not been made available as of this time.

A new "Goblin Chalets" card could be coming out, according to the rumor. It would be a structure, or cabin, which is said to spawn a couple of Goblins at a time. There is no information on the Elixir cost, rarity or card art for now. However, looking at past card releases, it is possible to have a good guess on the rarity of a card, according to the International Business Times. Looking at the pattern of cards released, this one is most likely a rare card, according to the report.

The "Goblin Ninja" card is described to be a Goblin that can use stealth for a limited time:  "He will be stealth for some times, he will disappear without a trace," according to the leak description. The card may cost five Elixirs and could be a Legendary Card.

The "Goblin Elder" or "Goblin Leader" Legendary card is a flexible unit that has 810 hit points and a quick attack speed of one per second. It can hit both air and ground targets from a range of four-and-a-half tiles, the leak suggested. It may cost six Elixirs to deploy.

The "Forest Berries" can be collected in Jungle Arenas and beyond, and seems to be a spell with an interesting effect. According to the rumor, they could "make the army lose its goal, attack in any direction, and will continue to retreat."

The specifics for the cards can still change or be replaced altogether from what's been described in these leaks, but deck builders may get an insight into the play styles that the new cards may popularize when they come out on March 24.
