CM Punk Leaving WWE Latest News: Bret Hart blames Triple H for CM Punk's departure

World Wrestling Entertainment legend and former champion Bret "The Hitman" Hart had one man to blame for the departure of fellow former champion CM Punk.

Punk (whose name is Phil Brooks in real life) left the company in November 2014. Then, just weeks after, the former WWE superstar was signed by the Ultimate Fighting Championship, much to the dismay of many, given his inexperience in mixed martial arts.

In a December interview, Punk addressed all the issues in another interview with Rolling Stone. On his departure, the 37-year old athlete says it was all about the differences he had with the WWE's top management.

"The lack of communication from the WWE office was astounding," Punk explained. "They said they suspended me and never contacted me. They were in my town, about an eight-minute drive from my house multiple times, and didn't feel like it was necessary to come try and talk to me, so I assumed that they didn't want to talk to me."

In another report by News.com.au, Punk apparently had issues with how wrestlers were booked for major pay-per-view events, noting that headliners were given to part-timer such as Brock Lensar and Batista, instead of talents like himself who worked full-time.

And according to Bret Hart, the man to blame for such a decision is none other than the Executive Vice President for Talent, Live Events and Creative, Triple H.

"I'd have to take Punk's side on it. Triple H is a bodybuilder nut," Hart argued. "He goes after the bodies. He doesn't care how good — and he can look in the mirror — guys work, he cares how guys look. Punk and Bryan are guys concerned with how they work. It's a different philosophy."

"I admire Punk for taking his stand," he added. "He was the guy doing all the work, every week, going injured, and here's a guy sitting at home — working three or four times a year — and you're going to give him the main event at WrestleMania? I'm not buying it."

Punk was scheduled to have his UFC debut at the end of 2015, but was indefinitely put on hold when he suffered an injury during training.
