Code Black' Season 1 Episode 12 Air Date Set on Jan. 13
"Code Black" season 1 is currently on a winter break after episode 11 aired on Dec. 9, but it will be back on Jan. 13, 2016 for episode 12 titled "The Fog of War."
Episode 11, which was titled "Black Tag," marked the end of "Code Black" midseason, which means fans will not have their dose of the medical drama until 2016. When the series comes back on Jan. 13 for episode 12, an interesting plot twist will take place, according to the International Business Times (IBT).
During the midseason finale titled "Cardiac Support," Jesse was shown recovering from a massive heart attack. Also, Dr. Leanne Rorish and other residents of the Angels Memorial Hospital tended to victims of a car crash.
The episode was all about "black tagging," the practice in which doctors assess and classify patients according to the severity of their condition to determine who are most likely to live or die, the report explains.
CBS has recently released a synopsis of the upcoming episode that may involve a love triangle among Heather, Angus, and Mario. This will happen while the doctors are taking care of patients from the massive accident.
In addition, the synopsis reveals that Malaya will find out that Carla is at the hospital. Despite the latter's request for the former to stay away from her while she gives birth, Malaya will not grant that wish, the report relays.
"A love triangle starts to form as the doctors treat patients from a multi-vehicle accident," the IBT quotes from the episode 12 synopsis. "Malaya disregards Carla's wishes and stays by her side as she delivers her baby."
Fans of the medical drama can expect season 1's number of episodes to reach 18 because CBS ordered additional five episodes for "Code Black," the New York Post reports.
"Code Black" will come back from its winter break on Jan. 13, 2016 for episode 12 titled "The Fog of War."
