'Code Vein' News: Devs Share More About the Stamina Gauge and the Different Partner Actions

Partner Actions can vary depending upon which character is accompanying the player

"Code Vein" is expected to be a challenging title once it is released, though prospective players can make it easier for themselves by learning more about its important gameplay features.

One of the more important gameplay elements that will be included in the role-playing game is the Stamina Gauge.

Previously, it was revealed that each and every battle action will require some bit of stamina. Players need to have stamina if they are going to launch attacks and they will also require it for evading their enemies.

The good news for players is that they can replenish their Stamina Gauges, though they will have to avoid performing any significant actions for that to happen.

Battles can last for a long time in the game, however, and at some point, players may find their Stamina Gauges low and themselves at the mercy of their opponents.

All is not lost when situations like those arise, however, as there are Partner Actions that can help "Code Vein" players get out of a tough spot.

Examples of Partner Actions other characters can pull off include attacking, guarding, boosting skills and even sharing some health points. Those can come in really handy in numerous situations and should give players a better chance of defeating their opponents.

There are also elements known as Co-Op Gifts included in the game, Gematsu reported.

Co-Op Gifts can only be activated when a partner is nearby. Furthermore, they can also differ depending on which partners are with players. Because of that, players will be better served to figure out which partners can offer them the best Co-Op Gifts so that they have better odds of succeeding.

Additional details about "Code Vein's" battle system should be made available soon, and the game itself is set to be released for the PC, PS4 and the Xbox One sometime next year.
