Conor McGregor News: 'The Notorious' Responds To Fighter Call-Outs, Wants Challengers To 'Beg' For Fight

Undisputed UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor has responded to the fighters who recently called him out and challenged him to a fight.

Over the weekend at UFC on FOX 17, lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos and former 155-pound title contender Nate Diaz called out "The Notorious" after their respective victories.

Dos Anjos made quick work of challenger Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone by stopping him in the first round of their rematch, while Diaz put on a dominant and solid performance against fellow Ultimate Fighter alum Michael Johnson through fifteen minutes of action, and was eventually awarded with a unanimous decision verdict.

After knocking out former long-time champion José Aldo within 13 seconds of their main event fight at UFC 194 last December 12th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, McGregor declared his intent to move up to dos Anjos' weight class at lightweight and fight for the strap.

The Brazilian 155-pound champion welcomed the Irishman's intentions, noting that he is willing to take the fight, whenever, wherever, just to prove that he is indeed the king of the UFC's lightweight division.

"I am willing to fight you in Brazil, I will go to Ireland to face you there," Dos Anjos said during his post-fight interview with UFC analyst Joe Rogan. "Whatever you want, man. I'm here to stay."

Diaz, on the other hand, went on a profanity-laced rant during his own interview with Rogan in the Octagon, in a fight that was broadcasted on American national television through FOX Sports.

The Stockton, California native had been constantly insisting that he is the original "money fight," adding that McGregor was simply copying his style. It did not take long before all the words got to McGregor, and as expected, his response was nothing short of notable.

"Line them up on their knees with their hands out," McGregor said through a post on Twitter. "I want them to beg me."
