'Crazy Ex-Girlfriend' Season 2 Spoilers: Rebecca, Josh May Split Up Because of a New Guy; New Poster Shows Rachel Fixing a Broken Heart
After finally getting back together, Rebecca and Josh's may be over before it actually begun.
Two posters were released for "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" Season 2 as its return on The CW nears. In the new season, Rebecca Bunch (Rachel Bloom) is no longer the crazy ex-girlfriend. But, she is shown front and center in one of the posters with a broken heart. There is also a very telling tagline of "I can fix this".
Reunited at his sister's wedding
The first season "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" ended with Rebecca finally getting back together with Josh Chan (Vincent Rodriguez III). He just broke up with his fiancé while Rebecca had to deal with some issues with Greg first. The reunited couple had sex after his sister's wedding when Rebecca suddenly felt the urge to come clean on her real reason for moving to West Covina. It was for him that she left her great life in New York for.
Someone coming in between them
"Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" Season 2 will be having a new guy in the cast, suggesting perhaps that Rebecca and Josh's relationship may be over even before it actually begun. The new man that will probably come between the two is named Nathaniel (Scott Michael Foster).
According to reports, Nathaniel is a lawyer just like Rebecca. They readily have something in common which does not bode well for Josh. The new character of "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" Season 2 is from a prominent family from a different part of California. For now, it is not yet revealed how he ended up in West Covina.
Not going away anytime soon
It has been reported that the part of Nathaniel is that of a recurring guest spot in "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" Season 2. Same report said however that the character has the potential to being a series regular for Season 3 granted that the series gets extended by The CW. This would only mean that Nathaniel has a big story arc and may not be going away anytime soon.
In August, Bloom has hinted that Rebecca will find happiness in "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" Season 2 with or without Josh. The news that a potential love interest for Rebecca should not be that surprising to many fans of the show.
Greg and Darryl updates
Meanwhile, Greg (Santino Fontana) will reportedly not be seen in "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" Season 2 when it premieres on The CW on October 21. The first episode of the season is "Where is Josh's Friend" which perhaps refers to Greg going MIA and has bolted West Covina.
Meanwhile, it was revealed in a photo from the premiere of "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" Season 2 that Darryl (Peter Gardner) is at a good place in his life after coming out and having a boyfriend since.
