'Criminal Minds' Season 11 Episode 14 Spoilers: Show Won in the Ratings Last Wednesday

The final January episode of "Criminal Minds" won the ratings game last Wednesday, along with Fox's "American Idol."

According to Variety, "Criminal Minds" is one of the most watched shows last Jan. 27 since the rival networks, NBC and ABC, aired repeat episodes of their shows. The website said that the CBS crime drama remained strong in its 9 o'clock timeslot, and the show gathered a total of 9.4 million viewers in the 18-49 demographics. It became the highest TV rating of the show since it premiered last Jan. 13. It's no wonder for fans since the last few episodes of the show, especially the midseason premiere, presented one of the strongest storylines of this season ever.

Meanwhile, the next episode of "Criminal Minds" season 11 also promises a great story for viewers. According to Design & Trend, Special Agent Hotchner (Thomas Gibson) and the rest of the BAU Team will have to hunt an Unsub who had taken three women in the past.

One of the women held captive managed to escape, but the website said that since the crime drama is known for its twisted stories, the woman who escaped might not be completely innocent. The kidnapping might not be true, and the girl could just be playing the authorities. Fans will just have to wait until next week to see what happens with the girls missing.

The Futon Critic posted an episode synopsis, and it reads, "When an 18-year-old girl escapes from a suburban home where she was held captive for years with two other women, the BAU searches for the Unsub who kidnapped them." Unfortunately, Aisha Tyler won't be in this episode to portray her character, Dr. Tara Lewis.

"Criminal Minds" season 11 episode 14 was directed by Bethany Rooney and was written by Virgil Williams.

"Criminal Minds" is on a short break this week, but it will be back on Feb. 10, Wednesday, on CBS.
