'Criminal Minds' Season 11 Spoilers: Episode 12 Synopsis Revealed; What Will Happen in 'Drive?'
There is still an episode scheduled to premiere before the 12th episode of "Criminal Minds" season 11 premieres, but a synopsis of the upcoming episode has already been released. It seems that Agent Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson) and the other BAU agents are headed back to Boston to investigate a series of mysterious deaths.
According to Carter Matt, not a lot of details were released by the network about what's going to happen in "Criminal Minds" season 11 episode 12, which is titled "Drive." However, the website pointed out that Aisha Tyler's character, Dr. Tara Lewis, is still part of the recurring cast of the show, and fans hope that she will return in future episodes since her insights in the previous cases are definitely most helpful. Viewers will just have to wait until Jan. 20 when the 12th episode airs to see if Dr. Lewis will be joining the BAU team in Boston.
The summary of "Drive" was also posted on the website, and it reads, "When bodies are discovered in public places throughout Boston, the BAU investigates whether a taxi or ride-share service the victims used before their deaths could lead the team to the UnSub."
Meanwhile, the show's spin-off show, "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders," will finally air this March, which will take the time slot after "Criminal Minds." The spin-off will star Gary Sinise as Jack Garrett, Daniel Henney as Matt Simmons, Tyler James Williams as Russ "Monty" Montgomery, and Annie Funke as Mae Jarvis. The show will premiere on March 2, according to Spoiler TV.
"Criminal Minds" is one of the few crime dramas that will be coming back early from its winter break, and fans are excited to see the showdown between Dr. Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) and his date, Cat Adams (Aubrey Plaza), in the 11th episode of the show. This episode will serve as the midseason premiere and it will air this Jan. 13, Wednesday, on CBS.
