'Criminal Minds' Season 9 Spoilers: First Part of Season Finale Airs, Team in Grave Danger (TRAILER VIDEO)

"Criminal Minds" airs its first part of the season finale tomorrow night. The episode, entitled "Angels," focuses on the murder of prostitutes with religious overtones. However, it leads the Behavioral Unit into grave danger that may have fatal consequences for one or more team members.

The BAU heads to Texas in order to investigate what appears to be the serial murder of prostitutes. As their investigation grows deeper, so does their risk of danger. And while the BAU is quite familiar with danger, this could lead them all down a road that they never intended to go down and may indeed lead to death for at least one team member.

Tomorrow's episode is only the first of a two-part finale, which means that it will inevitably set up plenty of dangerous situations for the team members. One key member of the team will play a crucial role in the two-part episode: Penelope Garcia. She has always been one of the team's standard go-to people, providing vital information that has saved lives and put her own in danger. Once again, she will attempt to keep all the members of her team safe as they do battle.

"As one team member's life hangs in the balance, another concerned BAU member must face a sad secret from the past, and Garcia is thrust into action to save a colleague, on the conclusion of the two-part ninth season finale of 'Criminal Minds,'" the statement from CBS explained.

This storyline involves four key members of the team, but which four? Viewers already know that JJ had to deal with the miscarriage caused by her time abroad and Morgan had to deal with the end of another relationship. What is it, then, that viewers don't know yet? And what member will be put in mortal danger? Can Garcia keep her team safe and intact just one more time?

"Criminal Minds" airs Wednesday nights on CBS.
