'CSI: Cyber' spoiler: Fans may see a possible crossover from 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation'
Fans of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" may have said good-bye to the beloved show after 15 years, but the good-bye may not be for long. According to rumors, the Las Vegas CSIs may come back to reprise their roles in "CSI: Cyber."
D.B. Rusell (Ted Danson) will now be seen as a regular character on "CSI: Cyber" starting this October in the spin-off series' second season. However, the creator of the original "CSI" series, Anthony Zuiker, recently teased that D.B. may not the only character who might probably visit the FBI's Cyber Crime Division.
In his recent interview with Deadline, Zuiker said that it may be possible for the Las Vegas Crime Lab members to guest star on "CSI: Cyber." However, the show's creator said that it might just not be in the "foreseeable future." "And I think that the CSI family is a family, so if there is ever an opportunity on Cyber for any actor who is still living on the show to stop by, that might be a nice treat," Zuiker said.

Zuiker, however, said that he is delighted for Ted Danson's transfer to the Cyber Forensics Division. "I'm personally extremely happy about that transition, I believe that the loyal viewers of Las Vegas would want to sample CSI Cyber because of his transfer," he added.
Danson will appear in the premiere episode in the upcoming episode, which is entitled "Why-Fi," this coming October. He will lead the Cyber Division Team to investigate and search for a burglar/killer, who managed to hack a home security system remotely. In his interview with Zap2it, Danson said that he's excited to work with Patricia Arquette (Avery Ryan) and James van der Beek (Elijah Mundo). "I'm off to do 'CSI: Cyber' and I'm really looking forward to it," the former 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' actor added.
"CSI: Cyber" season 2 will premiere this Oct. 4 on CBS.
