Dallas Cowboys Schedule 2017: Next Game Against San Francisco 49ers; Quarterback Dak Prescott Remains Positive
The Dallas Cowboys lost Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers, but that does not mean the team is ready to give up.
Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott performed well on the field during week five's game, but the Packers were able to one-up them in the end. However, he is certainly not going to let it ruin his game.
"We're headed in the right direction," Prescott told SportsDay in an interview. "We're moving the ball on offense like we want and playing back to the expectations and standards we have for ourselves. We're just going to continue to get better, and that's all we can worry about."
On Sunday, the Cowboys has a final score of 31 against the Packers' 35. This is the Dallas team's third loss so far, having suffered defeats against the Denver Broncos during week two and the Los Angeles Rams in week four. The Cowboys came out victorious during week one and three, winning against the New York Giants and the Arizona Cardinals, respectively.
Week six is a rest week for the Cowboys, and Prescott is using the off time to relax. But before that, he has to make time for his endorsement deals and promotional campaigns.
"I definitely long for those times of going home and seeing my grandma and just fishing and not having anything I guess you can say on the schedule for the most part. But it comes with the territory," the quarterback said. "But I'll get some 'me time' and I'll go fishing this weekend and I'll still get that time."
After that, the Cowboys will be going up against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Oct. 22. The match will take place at Levi's Stadium in California and will air on FOX. The Cowboys still have a lot of games ahead, including another bout against the New York Giants.
