Dallas have been in disarray since Tony Romo came out with an injury. Since the quarterback's absence, the Cowboys have lost consecutively and have now effectively dropped out of the playoff picture.

However, the return of Romo has given life to the Cowboys, who are simply trying to finish strong this season.
A win over the Panthers, thus giving them their first loss of the season, will definitely be a big statement for Romo and company and may be a sign that this season may be but a blip in their progression.
However, it is easier said than done when against the Panthers. Only one of two teams that are still unbeaten, many have started to talk about the possibility of Cam Newton going head-to-head against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots for the Super Bowl.
Though it may still be a few months away, it is not impossible to fathom as the Panthers are 10-0 this year and appear to be clicking in all cylinders.
Them beating the Cowboys does not seem like a big deal given that all players are stepping up and in perfect time as the season is down to its second half stretch.
