Dallas Cowboys vs Oakland Raiders Live Stream Free: Watch Thanksgiving Day 2013 NFL Football Online (CBS TV Schedule, Start Time)
The Dallas Cowboys will host the Oakland Raiders on Thursday in the second of three Thanksgiving NFL football games. The Cowboys need to capitalize on their dramatic win over the New York Giants last weekend with another victory today to try and claim control of the NFC East as the 2013 regular season builds towards its climax. Today's big game will start at 4.30 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
The Cowboys are tied at the top of the NFC East, with themselves and the Philadelphia Eagles on 6-5. The recent surge of form from the Giants came to an end last weekend against the Giants, and that has seen them fall back to 4-7 and now with nothing more than an outside chance of making the postseason.
The Eagles will be playing at home against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, and that will be a tough game for Philadelphia, as the Cardinals have been massively improved this season. The Cowboys will be hoping to ramp up the pressure on the Eagles by winning today at the AT&T Stadium.
The Cowboys did well to bounce back from their blowout loss to the New Orleans Saints on Nov. 10 where they lost 17-49. However, things went right down to the wire against the Giants, and in the end things could have gone either way.
They will want a more assured performance today against a Raiders team that has struggled so far this season.
As usual, whether the Cowboys can win today or not will depend in large part to how Tony Romo performs. He has put in some phenomenal performances so far this season, and has led the Cowboys to having the 5th ranked offense in terms of points scored per game (27.1 points).
Romo himself is 262 of 408 for 2,915 yards and 23 touchdowns. Dez Bryant has been his number one target man, and he has gone 835 yards on 61 receives for 8 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, the Raiders enter today's game as the basement team in the AFC West with a poor 4-7 record. They won a tight game 28-23 against the Houston Texans in Week 11, but suffered a tough loss to Tennessee last weekend, losing 19-23.
Reports have confirmed that rookie quarterback Matt McGloin will start in today's big Thanksgiving Day game. He has performed well even though his team lost recently, and coach Dennis Allen has enough confidence in McGloin to throw him in against the Cowboys today.
The Raiders are ranked number 4 in the NFL on rush, averaging 140.6 yards on the ground per game. Rashad Jennings has gone 553 yards on 109 carries for an average gain of 5.1 yards and 2 touchdowns.
