The Dallas Mavericks will play the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night in the NBA 2015-2016 preseason as both teams look to get their rosters up to match fitness and ready to hit the ground running when the regular season starts later this month. Tonight's big game between the Mavericks and the Nuggets has a start time of 8.30 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link below.

Both of these teams released their troubled point guards recently and they will be hoping that this decision will spark the dawn of bigger and better things for them. Rajon Rondo and Ty Lawson were big decisions, and will be big shoes to fill out on the court this season.

The Denver Nuggets and seventh overall draft pick Emmanuel Mudiay will be in Dallas tonight though, and it will be interesting to see how the two teams fare and where they are at with the new season just weeks away.

The Mavericks have had a stream of injury problems this offseason and they still have a number of big players out. New offseason signee Wesley Matthews is out after his left Achilles surgery, Tunisian center Salah Mejri is also out with a fractured left fibula, and JaVale McGee has been sidelined with a left tibial stress fracture.

That's not all though, and Dallas also have 13-time All-Star Dirk Nowitzki out tonight needing more rest, starting small forward Chandler Parsons is recovering from right knee surgery, second-year standout Dwight Powell has suffered a left elbow sprain, and point guard Deron Williams is also out with a left calf strain.

That may hamper Dallas' preparations somewhat, but will also give the opportunity for some of their fringe players to make a mark and hopefully work their way into the reckoning.
