The first battle was relatively close, with the Thunder pulling away with a 117-114 victory behind Russell Westbrook's 31 points and 11 assists.
Deron Williams had a good game despite the close loss as he had 20 points, six rebounds and six assists for the Mavericks.
In the second game, it was not as close as the Thunder started hot early to go on and win 108-89 at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.
Kevin Durant had 29 points and 10 rebounds as the Thunder thrashed an undermanned Mavericks squad.
