'Dance Moms' season 6: Will Abby Lee Miller allow Cathy Nesbitt-Stein to take her spot?
"Dance Moms" managed to snag another season renewal in Lifetime, and in the reality show's sixth installment, Abby Lee Miller's spot may be taken by Cathy Nesbitt-Stein.
Since news of Dance Moms season 6 renewal erupted, fans have been curious on who among the cast members will be retained and who will not return to the show. Cathy Nesbitt-Stein had already expressed her desire to replace Abby Lee Miller, but she knows the latter will not allow her to, according to Movie News Guide.
Rumors about Nesbitt-Stein's return to the Lifetime reality series circulated after news about Miller's alleged exit surfaced, Yibada reports.
In an interview with the International Business Times, Nesbitt-Stein addressed fans' questions and said she would agree to take the place of the "strict" dance coach, but Lee Miller will not let that happen. Most likely, Lee Miller will remain as the coach on Dance Moms and will still be in charge of planning for Vivi-Anne's future, the report relays.
When Nesbitt-Stein and her 10-year-old-daughter Vivi-Anne joined Dance Moms in 2011, they had no idea they would become one of the most sought-after cast in the reality show. Fans even lamented their absence in the fifth season.
After her departure from Dance Moms, Nesbitt-Stein has been concentrating on her dance studio. She shared that Vivi-Anne is one of the members of the team that recently bagged the grand national prize.
Nesbitt-Stein said she is willing to be part of Dance Moms season 6 if they could find a place near her studio and film in Ohio. Should there be an opening, she would also want to lead the team's choreography, she added.
She explained that she would want to be more hands-on and make their own steps rather than rely on guest choreographers. Aside from that, Nesbitt-Stein revealed that Vivi-Anne is currently involved in a "big" project that she is very excited about.
Lee Miller will reportedly not return for the next season of Dance moms. During a reunion episode, she said she is ready to take on more challenging tasks after her stint with the junior elite team.
