'Dance Moms' Season 7: ALDC Welcomed in Pittsburgh by Candy Apples as Nationals Closes In
A week before Nationals, the Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC) returns to their old Pittsburgh studio in "Dance Moms" season 7, episode 12, "It's Not Always Sunny in Pittsburgh," which brings out all kinds of emotions.
Dance coach Abby Lee Miller and the girls felt emotional just walking to their old studio, a place very close to their hearts as it was where they first danced their heart out.
Touching moments and hugs aside, "Dance Moms" season 7, episode 12 will not be short of drama and screaming matches especially with Candy Apples Dance Enter (CADC) owner Cathy Nesbitt-Stein in town too.
It looks like the dance instructor was even waiting for her archenemy's arrival in Pittsburgh just to welcome Miller the only way she knows how.
However, Nesbitt-Stein will not be the only source of the chaos in "Dance Moms" season 7, episode 12 as the moms will also find themselves at odds with Kaya Wiley, the mother of CADC's Nicaya.
While Miller was not part of the showdown, she was present for the whole thing. As she watched it all go down, she entertained herself with the "bad movie" by eating some popcorn.
It is a crucial time for ALDC and the moms to be amicable toward each other as the real enemy in "Dance Moms" season 7, episode 12 is Candy Apples. Nia's mother Holly hopes that the team focuses on the important matter here, which is actually acting as a team.
However, it would not be "Dance Moms" without Miller clashing with another mom. For this week, it will be Camryn Bridges' mother, Camille.
This face-off starts when Miller accuses the "Dance Moms" newcomer of being uninterested in joining ALDC, which has her mother fuming in anger.
It is unclear how it will turn out, but "Dance Moms" season 7, episode 12 spoilers suggest that Bridges will prove she wants to be on the team.
Spoiler Alert! The following contains details about the competition results. Read at your own discretion.
Bridges, together with Brynn Rumfallo, Kalani Hilliker, Kendall Vertes and Nia Sioux snagged the first place for overall group for their Contemporary routine, "Ghost Town." Bridges also nailed her Contemporary solo, "I'm Already Done," which landed her the first overall solo.
Continuing ALDC's takeover in "Dance Moms" season 7, episode 12, Elliana Walmsley and Lilliana Ketchman won first place overall duet and trio for their Lyrical performance, "Never Can Say Goodbye."
Guest dancer Sarah Hunt took home the top prize for pre-teen solo for her Contemporary/Lyrical rendition of "Thy Will Be Done" although her performance will not be aired.
"Dance Moms" season 7, episode 12, "It's Not Always Sunny in Pittsburgh," airs Tuesday, Feb. 14, at 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
