'Dance Moms' News: Abby Lee Miller Pleads Not Guilty, Maddie Ziegler to Return to Show?

American reality television series "Dance Moms" is bound to return to the small screen next year. But even before the show could make it to its premiere day, reports of dance instructor Abby Lee Miller being charged for bankruptcy fraud have been making its rounds on the Internet.

According to Deadline Hollywood, Miller, 49, went to her first day of arraignment in the federal courthouse in downtown Pittsburgh. The report said that she paid a bond of $10,000 and entered a not guilty plea after being charged for trying to hide upwards of $755,000 worth of income during her Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Daily Mail UK detailed that authorities started investigating Miller's financial status after a bankruptcy judge calculated that the star had to be earning more than her claimed monthly income of $8,899. FBI later learned that she failed to include more than $228,000 in income from appearances on Dance Moms and a spin-off project.

Miller then requested for a jury trial but it's not detailed yet when the said trial will take place. Lawyers on both sides estimate that it will run for about 11 days. Fans can expect to see her again in the season 6 of "Dance Moms."

In other news, fans are left wondering whether star dancer Maddie Ziegler will be returning to the reality TV show or not. In reports, rumors started spreading that Ziegler was making a comeback to the sixth season of "Dance Moms" because of a photo that Miller posted on her Instagram account.

She posted a photo of Ziegler competing in a dance competition for the Abby Lee Dance Company. At this time, filming for the upcoming season of series has already started. This has led many to assume that Ziegler has been busy practicing her dance moves to join a competition under Miller's dance company.

Ziegler expressed uncertainty back in June wherein she told MTV that she does not know what will happen for season 6. She's also not sure if she will return or not.

"Dance Moms" season 6 is expected to air its premiere episode sometime in January 2016.
