'Dancing with the Stars' is back! Season 21 pairings revealed
ABC's hit celebrity dance competition "Dancing with the Stars" is back on its 21st season with more sequins and glitters. Just recently, the show released its cast portraits and the pairings were revealed.
Nick Carter, who is rumored to be this season's frontrunner, said that he's a hard worker, but expects it to be a "fun" experience. Bindi Irwin, a wildlife conservationist and daughter of the late Steve Irwin, said that this experience is totally different from anything she has ever done before. The 17-year-old host even said she had never worn heels before rehearsing for the show.
Dancing with the Stars will also welcome its first-ever married couple to compete in the show, Alexa and Carlos PenaVega, who promised to show their competitive side to each other. Famous music legend Chaka Khan is also competing, and fans can't wait to see if she'll be able to add another trophy under her belt.
One of the world's most famous celebrity chef Paula Deen decided to join the show after her dramatic weight loss. "Well, maybe I can do it," she told "Good Morning America." She even joked to bribe the judges with sweets.
Another contestant that is part of the show is actor Gary Busey. The actor was already seen on other reality shows like "Celebrity Apprentice" and "Celebrity Big Brother," which he won. Viewers will just have to see if the actor will win another celebrity competition again.
The complete pairings of the show are Kim Zolciak and Tony Dovolani, Alek Skarlatos and Lindsay Arnold, Carlos PenaVega and Witney Carson, Alexa PenaVega and Mark Ballas, Chaka Khan and Keo Motsepe, Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough, Hayes Grier and Emma Slater, Andy Grammer and Allison Holker, Victor Espinoza and Karina Smirnoff, Paula Deen and Louis Van Amstel, Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess, Gary Busey and Anna Trebunskaya, and Tamar Braxton and Val Chmerkovskiy.
Dancing with the Stars will premiere next week on Sept. 14.
