'Dancing With the Stars' News: Alfonso Ribeiro Quitting Due to Injury? Week 10 Dances Revealed

Is Alfonso Ribeiro about to leave "Dancing with the Stars"?

Ever since the show's season 19 premiere episode, the actor and his pro partner, Witney Carson, have consistently stayed on or near the top of the leaderboard. According to E! News, Ribeiro has recently suffered an injury during rehearsals and is currently under medical evaluation. The doctors have yet to determine whether Ribeiro will be able to perform on Monday for the semifinals or the rest of the season.

TMZ reports that Ribeiro hurt his back on Wednesday after over compensating for the groin injury that he endured earlier on the show while performing his iconic dance, The Carlton. He reportedly skipped another rehearsal last Thursday so he could take more tests.
