'Dancing with the Stars' News: Nikki Bella Delivers Her Best Performance Yet, Reveals John Cena Asks Her to Quit Wrestling

Female wrestler and "Dancing with the Stars" (DWTS) contender Nikki Bella managed to advance to next week's round of elimination despite getting low scores from the judges for the past couple of weeks. With this week's theme titled "Most Memorable Year," Bella used the story of her wrestling comeback to render what must be her best "DWTS" performance yet.

Through her dance, the female wrestler was able to tell the judges and the audience the story of how she made her return to the wrestling arena last year after undergoing a neck surgery. Bella performed, with partner Artem Chigvintsev, a contemporary dance that was heavily inspired by her comeback story. Her dance, which she also dedicated to those who refused to work with her before thinking that she's incapable, also captured her return at the SummerSlam.

Bella's performance inspired the judges to each give her a score of 8. In total, she got a score of 24, which was her highest score so far since joining the reality dance competition. Aside from her and Chigvintsev, five other pairs also got a total score of 24 during last Monday's contest.

Meanwhile, Bella's fiancé, John Cena, revealed in a clip that was shown on this week's episode that he once urged his girlfriend to quit wrestling due to health concerns. According to him, the doctors even threatened Bella with the possibility of a paralysis, but Bella was unstoppable. After recovering from her neck surgery, she still opted to go back to the ring and compete again.

In an interview after last Monday's episode, Bella revealed that Cena still tries to convince her to quit wrestling until now. "Oh yeah, he still does. He is like, 'You have your health. Why continue? You've done everything you can as a WWE superstar.' But I don't believe that. There's so much more us females can do and I always want to be at the forefront of that," she said.

"Dancing with the Stars" airs Mondays, at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
