'Dancing With The Stars' News: No Bad Blood Between Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Vanessa Lachey
Rumors of drama have begun to surround "Dancing With The Stars" partners Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Vanessa Lachey, but it seems there is no truth to the alleged bad blood between them.
A report from tabloid National Enquirer claims that the professional dancers of the reality competition "hate" Lachey and are "taking Maks' side" in an apparent feud between the two dancing partners. A source reportedly told the tabloid that Lachey has been given the cold shoulder, and that the rest of the cast do not like her.
However, according to Gossip Cop, there is apparently no truth to this claim. Multiple sources revealed to the publication that Lachey has not been "cut off from the rest of the cast." On the contrary, the entire cast reportedly has a great bond among themselves and that they are getting along quite well.
Chmerkovskiy and Lachey did have a disagreement in the past, but the two dance partners have already settled the issue and moved past it. After all, good chemistry is a huge factor when it comes to succeeding in "Dancing With The Stars," something that they demonstrated during this week's Quickstep.
On Monday night, "Dancing With The Stars" took on the theme of "A Night at the Movies." Chmerkovskiy and Lachey took on the Quickstep and danced to "Let's Be Bad" from the musical series "Smash." The pair has been stuck in the middle of the pack for a few weeks now, but they proved on Monday that they were a force to be reckoned with, earning a total score of 36 out of 40.
The pair with the highest score that night, though, was Lindsey Sterling and Mark Ballas with their Argentine Tango set to Sevdaliza's "Human." Their science fiction routine astounded the judges, who then gave them a perfect 40 out of 40.
In the end, it was Nick Lachey and Peta Murgatroyd who got eliminated, with their Samba set to "Wild, Wild West" by Dru Hill, Will Smith, and Kool Mo Dee. Their routine only earned a score of 26 out of 40.
