'Dancing With The Stars' News: Sadie Robertson Does Costume Change for Rehearsal, Partner Mark Ballas 'Underwhelmed' With Scoring

Sadie Robertson and her partner Mark Ballas did a classy waltz to "Married Life" from the sound track of the movie "Up" for week 3 of "Dancing with the Stars."

Before the performance night, the 17-year old "Duck Dynasty" star was seen the day before at a West Hollywood dance studio with her mother Korie in tow, according to the Daily Mail.

Robertson wore a grey shirt printed with the logo "Quack Pack" on the front, and black shorts. Her hair was up in a simple ponytail. Korie wore a purple long sleeved top and jeans.

Robertson cheerfully smiled and waved at the photographers as she headed for the studio with her mother. After the rehearsal, she left the studio clad in a black strapless maxi dress with a side slit. She walked to the parking lot barefoot while she carried her grey sneakers and her phone in one hand.

On Sept. 29, Robertson and Ballas got rave reviews for their waltz, but only got four 8s across the board.

In his exclusive blog post for Hollywoodlife, Ballas wrote about his partner and how he felt about Monday night's scoring.

"Really proud of Sadie tonight!" he wrote. "I though her technique was great; I was really impressed with her frame, considering it was her first ballroom dance."

"I was a little underwhelmed and disappointed with the scoring. Carrie Ann Inaba said it was one of her favorites of the night, but then scored the same as everyone else. I felt like it could have been 9s across the board."

Two couples got perfect scores for week three, Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy, and Bethany Mota and Derek Hough.

In his blog post, Ballas mentioned that he was surprised at the timing of the perfect scores, since in previous seasons the judges would wait to give them out at later episodes.

"It was a little early in the season, in my opinion, for 10s. I've never seen 10s this early in the competition, but I felt that the dances that got them definitely earned them," wrote Ballas.

"I would have given those dances 10s too! But I was surprised that the judges gave them out this early in the season," added.
